The OBSA is excited to announce the return of the annual Connect Event! This event will take place on March 28th from 6-9pm in the Atrium of the E-Building on the Kelowna campus.

Connect is designed as a business formal, cocktail-hour networking social, where students and business representatives will be able to purchase tickets to attend an event hosted at Okanagan College, accompanied with appetizers, wine and beverage service, door prizes, and other engaging activities.

​

Connect has business members attend from all industries - accounting, finance, marketing, HR, management, law and more! If you are a student interested in business, this event will connect you with professionals in industries of your interest.

 

The ultimate goal of the event is to create meaningful connections between the students and the business community of the Okanagan, that reaches beyond a standard job fair. Ideally, we hope to target and incentivise businesses to send senior representatives, who will be able to not only better speak on behalf of their company but provide the most experiential advice to the OSB students.

 

In organizing and hosting Connect, we strive to provide students the opportunity to learn from expert mentors in their desired field of work, and potentially establish a route to enter the business world post-graduation.
